Hello FoLL website readers!  Our libraries received a generous donation of more than four hundred books in March.  We offer a big THANK-YOU to the following civic leaders for their contributions: Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon and his staff generated a huge donation of children’s books, and at the close of her term as Lakewood's mayor, Diane DuBois requested that books be donated to our libraries in lieu of all other form of recognition.

Donations to the Friends of the Lakewood Libraries Scholarship Trust are being accepted.  They are fully tax deductable and can be mailed or brought to Angelo Iacoboni Library, 4990 Clark Ave., Lakewood, CA 90712.  The number and amounts of scholarships awarded each year will depend on the funds available.

Congratulations to the 2018 FoLL Scholarship Recipients

How to Get Involved with Foll

"Volunteers don’t get paid, not because they’re worthless, but because they’re priceless."

Sherry Anderson
