How to Get Involved with Foll

The Friends of the Lakewood Libraries (FoLL) is a non-profit, membership corporation established in 1972. The purpose of the corporation is to enhance the programs, services and materials of the Angelo M. Iacoboni and George Nye, Jr. Libraries through public awareness, cultural programs, and private funding.

Donations to the Friends of the Lakewood Libraries Scholarship Trust are being accepted.  They are fully tax deductable and can be mailed or brought to Angelo Iacoboni Library, 4990 Clark Ave., Lakewood, CA 90712.  The number and amounts of scholarships awarded each year will depend on the funds available.

There are many ways to volunteer with the Friends of the Lakewood Libraries.  Whether it's volunteering in the FoLL Book Store, sorting, cleaning and organizing books, working a book sale or volunteering at the Taste of Lakewood - volunteers are always needed and welcome..

"Volunteers don’t get paid, not because they’re worthless, but because they’re priceless."
